Some of the more sceptical scholars at the University in xxx have wondered why the hours and days all fit so nearly.  Their colleagues of a more religious upbringing remind them that they gods shaped the world to their own plan.

There 27 hours in a day, and 9 days in a week.  Each day is associated with a god and may be named after some aspect of the god’s domain or a hero of the faith.

  5. Moonday (Sky)- Ancora has a single moon. Worshipers of [god of sky] believe it is her eye where she watches over them.
  6. [Roads]
  7. [War]
  8. Vinday (Wine and Song) – Everyone looks forward to this day as the time to throw off the stresses and hardships of the week. The most sedate of country households may only sip wine with their evening meal but the parties in the big city can go on the whole night.
  9. Quiesday (Death) – This is the day of rest and quiet contemplation. Although many people are restful and quiet because they are suffering from the excesses of the day before.

There are 3 weeks in a month,  3 months in a season and 4 seasons in a year.  The year is324 days long, overall.

Last day of the year and of winter – day of silence. All fires are put out at nightfall. Signifies when the gods vengeance on the evil sorcerer rained down and the sky went dark.
